On January 7, an overseas trade delegation with over 1000 representatives from more than 300 Guangdong companies took chartered buses to Hong Kong. They will participate in the HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, one of Asia's largest toys fairs, and will kick off from January 9 to 12th. The Hong Kong Stationery Fair and the Hong Kong Baby Products Fair will also be held simultaneously.
This is the country's largest foreign trade exhibition group since the outbreak of the epidemic. "This is a grand event for the global toy industry! We must seize the opportunity to expose new products, consolidate old customers, and find new customers," said Wang Jianfeng, manager of Shantou Xinbida Early Education Technology Company.
"The three exhibitions attracted more than a thousand exhibitors from 17 countries and regions worldwide. In response to the border reopening between Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland, over thousand representatives have been attracted to participate in via 'Cantonese Business Go Global' Project from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce," said Sophia Chong, Deputy Executive Director of the HKTDC.
"We prepared several large boxes of exhibits of different types of smart educational toys, packed them, and sent them to Hong Kong in advance. The Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair has a relatively large platform and greatly influences the toy industry and the world. He plans to participate in more international exhibitions this year to increase product exposure, obtain customer information, and promote order conversion.
According to the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce, via the "Cantonese Business Go Global" Project, it will organize more than 100 exhibitions in 37 countries and regions worldwide and encourage thousands of enterprises to explore overseas markets.
