The 29th China (Guangzhou) International Health Industry Expo opened in Guangzhou on Dec 6, gathering nearly 600 companies from countries and regions including China, Bulgaria, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. It will last for three days.
The expo, held under the guidance of the China Cereals and Oils Association and the China National Health Association, covers a total area of around 30,000 square meters, showcasing exhibits covering the whole downstream and upstream industrial chain of the health industry, such as healthy food and cubilose.
Currently, the expo has become one of the most important business purchase platforms for the health industry, contributing greatly to the stable development of the industry and relevant companies in the post-COVID-19 pandemic era.
Zhang Guifeng, chairperson of the China Cereals and Oils Association, said that China's health industry has entered a period of rapid development, as the market scale of the industry will exceed 8 trillion yuan ($1.22 trillion) in 2020.
In addition, more than 10 conferences and forums are being held during the event.
