The 129th session of the China Import and Export Fair, better known as the Canton Fair, will be held online from April 15 to 24, according to the Ministry of Commerce. Based on the current situation, the online session can further exemplify the fair's role as an all-round opening-up platform to maintain the smooth operation of the foreign trade industry chain as well as the supply chain.

The exhibition topics in this session remain the same with the previous one. Export goods will be divided into 16 categories with 50 exhibition areas, while import commodities will be classified into 6 major topics. All exhibition areas will be available online since the opening date.
Last but not least, the 129th Canton Fair will continue to waive the exhibitors' fees, and will not charge the cross-border e-commerce platforms any fees for participating in the synchronization activities.
Founded in 1957, the Canton Fair is seen as an important barometer of China's foreign trade. The 128th session attracted around 26,000 domestic and overseas enterprises, with more than 2.47 million products.
