On September 7, Guangzhou Metro announced that starting from September 8, all stations of all metro lines will require "health/venue code" scanning to enter the station, in an effort to improve epidemic prevention and control in key transportation places.
Moreover, for some stations, passengers can enter the station after they have the health code (Yuekang/Suikang code) checked on the device and the code shows normal. To enter other stations, passengers need to scan for venue codes.
