The 2022 World Digital Agriculture Conference as well as the 21st Guangdong Seed Industry Expo will be held in Guangzhou from December 11 to 13 both online and offline.
It features an online digital agriculture press room, where audiences can gain insight into the technological progress, latest information, forum discussions and industry meetings in the fields of digital agriculture, livestock, plantation and agricultural machinery.
It allows businesses to attend online and negotiate a deal. It has been learned that over 100 enterprises have registered.
The application of metaverse is also one of the highlights of the event. Audiences can participate in various activities online and take a deeper look into Guangdong's agricultural development.
11 cities in Guangdong, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Chaozhou, Huizhou, Maoming, Zhaoqing, Yangjiang, Jiangmen and Shaoguan will host sessions online to present audiences with good local seeds and farming tools.
The conference is part of the province's move to drive agricultural modernization via digital tools. It consists of an opening ceremony, a main forum, 3 online farming exhibitions, 4 online exhibition halls, 4 themed exhibitions and a series of offline activities.
