The second session of the 13th Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) closed in Guangzhou on January 24.
Lin Keqing, chairman of the CPPCC Guangdong Committee, presided over the closing ceremony and delivered a speech. According to Lin, Guangdong CPPCC organizations at all levels and members should make suggestions on further reform and opening-up and high-quality development to help drive Chinese modernization in Guangdong.
Lin indicated that Guangdong Provincial CPPCC should focus on further reform and opening-up of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, introduce comprehensive measures and put forward suggestions on foreign trade, foreign investment, foreign economic cooperation, offshore outsourcing, and attracting overseas talents.
He further pointed out that Guangdong CPPCC should effectively use various ways of political consultation to help solve issues of public concern,such as education, employment, medical care and elderly care, ensuring and improving people's well-being.
The meeting also passed the resolution of the second session of the 13th Guangdong Provincial Committee of the CPPCC.
