The 32nd Guangzhou Fair, a significant event in China's trade and cultural calendar, is set to be held from August 23 to 26 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex's A and B areas.
With an expansive exhibition space of approximately 120,000 square meters and about 6,000 booths, the Fair is expected to draw a significant international audience and underscore the city's advancements across various sectors.
The Fair this year features the Guangzhou city exhibition and exhibitions for domestic provinces, cities and counties. Additionally, there are also specialized exhibitions, covering sectors including rural revitalization, elderly care, medical and health, food supply chain, elevator, auto aftersales service, and more.
For the first time, the Fair introduces the "All Space Unmanned Systems" exhibition, highlighting cutting-edge technologies such as drones, autonomous vehicles, unmanned ships, and related communication and navigation equipment. This segment aims to provide a "Guangzhou Model" for the high-quality development of the low-altitude economy nationwide, as well as reinforcing Guangzhou's position as a leader at the innovation forefront nationwide.
In the elderly care exhibition, the 8th China (Guangzhou) International Elderly Health Expo 2024, new products, technologies, services, models, and solutions in the elderly care sector are displayed. During the Fair, Guangzhou will sign cooperation framework agreements with the Hong Kong Social Welfare Department and the Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. These agreements are to deepen cross-border elderly care cooperation within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, facilitating the integration of medical care and elderly care services.
To expand international cooperation, the Fair also invites international friends with consulates in Guangzhou to participate and foster trade exchanges.
Plus, the Fair dedicates a special section to the achievements of the "High-quality Development Project for Guangdong's Counties, Towns and Villages", showcasing the progress made by Guangdong over the past year, highlighting collaborative efforts and distinctive experiences in the construction of city and county industrial parks.
The Guangzhou Fair 2024 is poised to become a prominent event for international exchange, technological innovation, and economic cooperation.
