Specifically, among the province's 21 cities, 19 cities are deemed to be 'on the mend'. Companies' sales revenues in these cities have exceeded last year's.

Manufacturing, construction, wholesale and retail are leading the recovery, with their sales revenue showing a 10% rise on last year.

Moreover, traditional industries including electronic machinery and equipment manufacturing, the automobile industry, furniture manufacturing and clothing manufacturing are also improving, with sales revenues increasing greatly quarter on quarter, with 52.4%, 38.2%, 29.1% and 17% respectively.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, Guangdong has rolled out a slew of tax and fee relief measures to alleviate the burden on market entities, especially small firms and self-starter businesses.
