Guangdong 21st Century Maritime Silk Road International Expo 2021, organized by Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Committee and Guangzhou municipality, was successfully held in tandem with a conference and combined the comprehensive exhibitions with specialized ones. The event in both virtual and physical forms with nearly 50 trade exchanges attracted more than 700,000 visitors, achieving fruitful results in trade cooperation and people-to-people exchanges. It also conveyed a message of tiding over the difficulties with concerted efforts to countries and regions along the Belt and Road, restoring their confidence in global economic recovery.
