Fair and summit to help SMEs further involve in global industrial chain

The 18th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair and the 2nd SME International Cooperation Summit will kick off in Guangzhou from June 26 to 30, according to a latest press conference on June 15.




Guangdong, as the host, plans to make full use of these two fairs to link up high-quality international resources, strengthen international exchanges and cooperation among SMEs, and help them deeply engage in the global industrial chain and supply chain.

Forty countries and international organizations including Vietnam, Germany, Greece, Canada, Brazil, New Zealand, Thailand, Iran, Egypt and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), as well as China’s Hong Kong and Macao SARs and Taiwan Province have confirmed their participation. The exhibition area has been enlarged by 50% over the previous session.


Ministerial officials from Vietnam, Iran, the Republic of Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, the World Intellectual Property Organization, and UNIDO have confirmed their online or offline attendance. Officials from embassies and consulates of more than 30 countries will attend the event.

During the events, representatives from international organizations, domestic and foreign SME service organizations, embassies and consulates in China, foreign business associations and SMEs will make proposals on promoting the development of SMEs. They will exchange government policies and measures for SMEs and share experiences.


Moreover, promotional events, business negotiations and investment-related activities will also be held for Vietnam, New Zealand, Iran, Nepal, Fiji and China’s Hong Kong and Macao SARs and Taiwan Province to help SMEs deeply participate in the global industrial chain, supply chain and value chain.
