The fifth China Trade Fair Indonesia 2023 opened at Jakarta International Expo on Thursday and was participated by over 1,000 companies from China's Zhejiang, Guangdong, Sichuan, Jiangsu and other places.

It covered an area of more than 45,000 square meters and is known as an influential Chinese self-organized exhibition in Indonesia, as well as an important platform for business exchanges and cooperation between China and Indonesia.

Catering to the actual needs of buyers and exhibitors, the three-day event consisted of nine professional exhibitions of various fields including textile and garment, industrial equipment and parts, household electrical appliances and consumer electronics, electricity and energy, and intelligent transportation, among others.

It adopted the form of "digital exhibition" and highlighted new lines of star electric vehicle (EV) products by Chinese car manufacturers such as Chery, GWM, and Wuling, building diversified channels and boosting empowerment for Chinese products to go overseas.
