A Myanmar Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) products exhibition is being held in Myanmar's capital Nay Pyi Taw since Feb. 10 to commemorate the country's 77th anniversary of Union Day, state media reported on Tuesday.
The official daily The Mirror reported that the expo includes various MSMEs products, ranging from traditional food representing various ethnic groups to locally-produced MSMEs goods.
It also featured the craftsmanship of local artisans through traditional handicrafts, serving as a platform to promote national pride and preserve cultural heritage, the report said.
One of the main attractions of the exhibition is the One Region One Product initiative, aimed at promoting regional specialties and facilitating market access for ethnic entrepreneurs, it said.
Through this platform, MSMEs from various regions and states, including the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, have the opportunity to showcase their products and explore avenues for both domestic and international trade, it said.
The festivities extended beyond commerce, with traditional dances and songs reflecting the unique cultural traits of different regions and states resonating throughout the venue.
