Dongguan to host the 8th Food Expo & Pre-Expo(2024)

The 8th China International Food and Ingredients Expo and the 2nd China International Pre-Made Food Industry Expo (2024“食博会·预博会”, 2024 Food Expo & Pre-Expo) will be held in Dongguan city of Guangdong province from April 12 to 14.  The announcement was made during a local press conference held on February 22.


This year's exhibition, themed “食全食美,预见‘味’来”, will feature 10 major exhibition sections covering a total area of 80,000 square meters. Exhibitors from 31 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions, as well as over 20 countries and regions, will gather together, holding a multitude of exciting events for thousands of participants to this nationally recognized expo.

During the 2024 Food Expo & Pre-Expo, a series of professional activities will be organized, including business matching sessions, industry forums, expert seminars, product launches, etc.

In fact, it was the fourth time for Dongguan to hold this national-level expo.

Dongguan, a city renowned for its food industry, international trade, and industrial innovation, is set to capitalize on its strengths and maximize the impact of the upcoming 2024 Food Expo & Pre-Expo. With ambitions to bolster its industrial development, enhance its city image, and strengthen its international influence, Dongguan aims to leverage the exhibitions to their fullest potential.

It is reported that Dongguan plans to establish the Dongguan Pre-Made Food Industry Association during the 2024 Food Expo & Pre-Expo and actively promote the establishment of the China Pre-Made Food Industry Association, with Dongguan as its base. Statistics shows that the 2024 Food Expo & Pre-Expo has already received purchase intentions totaling nearly 30 billion yuan from companies around the globe.

With approximately 50 days to go, the 2024 Food Expo & Pre-Expo will serve as a solid platform for high-quality foreign products to enter the Chinese market and for Chinese products to go global.
