The second China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) kicked off in Beijing on Nov. 26, themed "Connecting the World for a Shared Future".

The exhibition covers an area of about 120,000 square meters, attracting more than 600 domestic and foreign enterprises to participate. The number of participating companies has increased by 20% compared to the first edition, and the proportion of overseas exhibitors rose from 26% in the first edition to 32%.

Up to now, the participating companies in the second edition are from 69 countries, with European and American exhibitors accounting for 50% of the overseas exhibitors. Fortune Global 500 and industry-leading companies make up more than 60% of the participating enterprises.

The CISCE is the world's first national-level exhibition themed on supply chains. The second edition features six major chains and one special exhibition area: Advanced Manufacturing Chain, Clean Energy Chain, Intelligent Automotive Chain, Digital Technology Chain, Healthy Living Chain, Green Agriculture Chain, and Supply Chain Services exhibition area.

In the Intelligent Automotive Chain exhibition area, visitors can see displays ranging from upstream components, midstream power batteries and intelligent networking to downstream system integration and horizontal service segments. This area focuses on the innovative development of electrification, intelligence, and networking, enhancing cooperation within the industry, cross-industry integration, and resource sharing. Rio Tinto, Bosch, Baowu, and Xiaopeng are among the four domestic and foreign companies that have joined forces to exhibit together.

"The Chain Expo builds a bridge for countries around the world for industrial integration, mutual innovation, and market connectivity," said Ren Hongbin, president of the CCPIT, at the opening ceremony of CISCE.

Among the more than 600 participating companies, 56 are from Guangdong, an increase from the previous edition. Companies such as Guangdong Guangxin Holdings Group Ltd., Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holdings Group, TCL, BYD, Mingyang Smart Energy, and HAN'S Laser are showcasing their products.

PCI Technology Group Co., Ltd. from Guangzhou, a company specializing in AI technology products and services, is attending the CISCE for the first time. "Our products have been applied in various areas such as urban transportation, smart cities, digital factories, and emergency information," said Yan Bo, General Manager of PCI Tech Major Projects and Overseas Business. He also hoped to establish connections with upstream and downstream enterprises from abroad and promote their products to overseas markets through this exhibition.
